| About LNW and This Case
Hello, I'm Professor Jerry Mechling of the Harvard University John F. Kennedy School of Government, and director of the Harvard Policy Group on Network-Enabled Services and Government (HPG) and the Leadership for a Networked World (LNW) Program (formerly the E-Government Executive Education Project).
The HPG is a collaborative effort among public and private sector organizations to inform and strengthen the leadership and relationships needed for twenty-first century cross-boundary innovation and governance. Through LNW, we disseminate best practices and strategic thought to leaders around the world.
We have developed this Web-based case to advance learning on complex technology-based cross-boundary governance. The challenges and opportunities outlined in this case are real issues that need your ideas. The case provides an opportunity for you to review the issues and to send us back a memo with your innovative solution. Leading memos will have the opportunity to win prizes and gain exposure in the broader Harvard community.
On behalf of the case participants, the HPG, the LNW Program, and Harvard University, I thank you for reviewing this case. We hope you enjoy and learn from this case, and we look forward to receiving your ideas!
