Leadership for a Networked World conducts multiple leadership summits each year with the Technology and Entrepreneurship Center at Harvard. Summits focus on areas that are central to government innovation and the ability to deliver increased public value. These programs and their content reach thousands of public, private and non-profit executives from around the world each year and guide many senior-level decision makers on the key priorities to focus on when setting their policies and strategies. The LNW Leadership Summits are designed for senior executives in multiple sectors of the economy who are ideating and implementing the next generation of innovation and transformation initiatives. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Chief Elected and Executive Officers
- Chief Information Officers
- Chief Financial and Budget Officers
- Political Appointees
- Senior Civil Servants
- Program and Project Managers
- Legislative and Other Overseers
- (budget officers, journalists)
- IT Strategists and Consultants
The curriculum of LNW executive education programs is based on research conducted across the Harvard community and best practices developed in government and industry. Instructional tools and techniques provided during programs include online tools to engage students before and after the program, case studies and examples from leading practitioners. After completing LNW courses, attendees remain members of an opt-in online community that offers updates based on areas of interest, and provides continuing support as students work to implement what they have learned during their time at the summit.
